A successful experience for several years in the major French cosmetic houses, particularly well-known for their cares and beauty treatments, like GATINEAU, Catherine SERTIN decides to run a beauty school.

In 1994 Catherine SERTIN and Laurent DURANT joined together to make their wish come true. They fall in love with this old beauty school, the Madeleine MAGUIN School. It is located on the first floor of a Parisian building from the beginning of the 20th century, in a quiet street, in the heart of a prestigious area, between Opera and La Madeleine.

This school is run by Catherine SERTIN and Laurent DURANT who have successfully developed this great professional legacy. They are teeming with ideas, they are dynamic and they really want to pass on their knowledge to the young generation.

In 1997, three years after the creation of the school, Catherine SERTIN opens her own Beauty salon and develops a real synergy between the working world and the teaching world. This way, Laurent DURANT aims to ensure that training is closely adjusted to business life and is in constant touch with employers.
